Look at your current concept direction honestly. Write: 'Instead of focusing on [current direction], I will focus on [what the insight actually reveals].' If the second half is basically the same as the first, the insight hasn't landed yet.

Unpack

An insight only counts if it changes something. If you can acknowledge it and keep designing exactly as you were, it was an observation you agreed with, not an insight. The most interesting student work rarely comes from the most obvious topic — it comes from someone who found something genuinely surprising and followed it, even when it was inconvenient.

Draw it.
