Do this now
Pick one person who isn't you — a user, a critic, a complete outsider. Describe your current idea from their perspective in three sentences. What do they notice first? What confuses them? What do they want instead?

Perspective shifts aren't just empathy exercises — they're idea generators. When you see your work through someone else's frame, the gaps and assumptions become visible in a way they never are from the inside. A surface shift changes tone. A real perspective shift changes what the idea is actually for.
