Do this now
Turn on your grid. Find every element that isn't quite aligned to anything. Fix them. If you have to turn the grid off to make the design look right, the grid isn't the problem.
Unpack
Alignment creates invisible structure — the viewer feels it without seeing it. False alignment — almost but not quite touching a grid line — is one of the most common issues in student work and one of the easiest to fix. The grid is not a constraint on creativity, it's what makes creativity legible.
Draw it.
Fast and messy is better than perfect.
