Make the important thing obvious
The audience should know where to look first.
Do this
Identify the one thing the audience should notice first.
Now check:
size · position · contrast · weight
Does the design make it obvious?
If not, change it.
WHY IT HELPS
Hierarchy shows the audience what matters and what to look at next.
Scale is one of the simplest ways to make importance visible.
Think in three levels:
Primary → Secondary → Supporting
Not every element needs the same visual strength.
Ask:
What should I see first?
What should I understand next?
What information can sit quietly?
Make the difference between those levels visible.
Draw three levels of importance:
primary → secondary → supporting.
If everything has equal weight, nothing feels important.
