Do this now
Create three versions of your current design — not three colour variations, three genuinely different structural or conceptual approaches. Pin them up or lay them side by side. Which one surprises you? Start there.
Unpack
Iteration isn't polishing — it's testing. Each version is a question. The version that surprises you is usually more interesting than the one that feels safe, because safe means you already knew what it would look like before you made it. Refinement only makes sense once you've found the direction worth refining.
Draw it.
Fast and messy is better than perfect.
